Little Women Theatre Set
This project entailed creating a theatre poster, playbill, postcard, and social media post to promote a play performance of Little Women. This project required emulating the style of needlepoint while accurately representing the story. To address this, I used imagery that had symbolic meaning in the plot and appeared commonly in needlepoint. In my vectors, I used 45 and 90-degree angles to push the needle point look. Additionally, I used Photoshop to alter the background to look like an aged canvas. Finally, I assembled my assets in InDesign and added the typography.

Italian Dessert Recipe Book
The goal of this project was to create an organized and aesthetically pleasing book layout by utilizing InDesign table styles, bullet options, page numbers, and parent pages. When making parent pages, I created multiple spreads layouts to account for the different lengths of recipes. In addition, I intentionally alternated left and right page headers to keep visual interest and enhance the reading flow.
Card and Gift Set
This project entailed developing an animal character and applying it to a cohesive set of stationery and wrapping paper. My project focused on Franklin, the stormy cloud bear, and his friend Sunny, the happy cloud bear.
This set consists of 88 variations of bears, a character sheet, 2 cards, 2 envelopes, and 3 wrapping paper options.

Horus Erie Fire Department Coloring Book
The purpose of this project was to create a coloring book for the Erie Fire Department. They specified that they wanted Horus, their Fire dog, to be the main character of their book. Since this was a class project, we were all tasked to present our own version of Horus to the Firefighters. Unfortunately, my version of Horus was not chosen. However, the assets that I included on my character sheet were approved by the firefighters to be used in the book. Specifically, the simplified illustration of Horusā badge and the firefighter emblem were picked to be applied to the coloring pages. My drawn-out version of Horusā name I provided on my character sheet also inspired the typeface used in the book.
When it came time to create the coloring book, each student was assigned a page to illustrate. We had to use the winning version of Horus, drawn by Samantha McDonald, and create illustrated assets that complemented her style.
My contribution to the book was page 1. My page was text-heavy, so I used smaller illustrations to complement the text.
Before sending off the final version of the coloring book, we held a review to critique aspects of pages that needed to be adjusted to make the book more cohesive and improve visual clarity.
