Corita Kent
The goal of this project was to create a value scale portrait using patterns. In this project, I used an assortment of Adobe patterns and self-created patterns. When creating patterns, I evaluated the recurring words, images, and themes in Corita Kent’s artwork to add more meaning to her portrait. To achieve the correct value for the patterns, I adjusted the gray tones and pattern density.
Card and Gift Set
This project entailed developing an animal character and applying it to a cohesive set of stationery and wrapping paper. My project focused on Franklin, the stormy cloud bear, and his friend Sunny, the happy cloud bear.
This set consists of 88 variations of bears, a character sheet, 2 cards, 2 envelopes, and 3 wrapping paper options.
